History

1997
- A need for BIMBO Bakery Products and demand for stores wanting them created a need for Azteca to begin.
2000
- AZTECA Distributors, L.L.C. starts the distribution of BIMBO, Marinela, Barcel, Ricolino, Coronado, and Tia Rosa products in the states of Utah and Idaho.
2001
- System creation for distribution of Bimbo products.
2002
- Consolidation of distribution of Bimbo products to all stores and markets in Utah and Idaho.
2003,
- 14 delivery trucks support 14 distribution routes, to service the Latin and American markets in Utah and Idaho.
- Handhelds are made available for each truck, allowing to invoice immediately at any store location, and to access inventory information at anytime, providing excellent service while saving time.
2004
- 17 delivery trucks support the 17 distribution routes with "Excellence in Service" to the Latin Markets and American Supermarkets in Idaho and Utah.
- Our New Distribution Center opens in Boise, Idaho, to service the state of Idaho.
2005
- The Latin community continues to grow, and as always, we welcome all our friends.
2006
- We increase to 19 trucks and 19 distribution routes, with our Excellence in Service to the Latin markets and consolidation with American Supermarkets in Utah and Idaho.
- We move to our NEW Distribution Center in Salt Lake City, UT, with new offices and first class computer equipment.
